Aubrey is getting so big! I can't believe she is turning 2 this weekend!! (March 6, 2011)

We are going to be driving to PA to see our family tomorrow. We are going to have Aubrey's birthday party there this year!!!

Philadelphia Eagles game in Jacksonville,Florida

We took our daughter Aubrey to Jacksonville for the Eagles game so she could experience it. She already yells Eagles!!!! With such intensity! She loves hearing the fans do the Eagles chant! We had a great time and she did too! We also went to the beach in the morning on Saturday. She loves the water. She is a little too daring!!

Here is Charlie's new car!!!

So here is the story! We had been looking at used cars with only a limited amount of money the insurance had given us for his car. Charlie was so bummed out because he had never had a new car before and he was only going to be able to get another used car and for the money we had it was either going to

be old or have alot of miles. So I had called the sales guy at Hyundai and asked him if he had any used cars in a certain price range. He called me back and said I have a 2005 GrandAM. I asked Charlie to go look at it. So Charlie went to look at it with the sales guy and his sales act was to drive him over in the 2011 Sonata. I asked Charlie how the used car was and he couldn't stop talking about the new car. I called the sales guy and asked him if there was any deals on leasing that new car? He told me he could work something out! So I new Charlie's birthday is coming up so I figured I would suprise him and act like we were going to buy the used car. I called the sales guy and asked him to see if we qualified and start the paper work if we did. I told Charlie we didn't qualify so I said we are going to buy that used car tomorrow. He said ok but was so disapointed. We went up there the next day and the sales guys handed me the new car keys secretly. We got in the used car and started test driving it around the corner and there was the new car with balloons. We told him to stop the car because there was his new car!!! He was like a little kid. He could'nt believe it!!

Charlie's Car Accident

So by the grace of God Charlie has survived this horrible accident with some scratches on his hand. I thank GOD everyday for being with him and protecting my LOVE!

Aubrey has a new toy. She is 4 months old and is doing pretty good with standing in the exersaucer. We were very happy to see her being able to figure out how the toys on it worked. This keeps her occupied for a little bit and then she is bored again.

It is so amazing how quick she is growing up. We thought we were done the fussy stage but this week she has been very fussy. We think she is teething but it seems too early! We are starting to experience her being so aware of everything. She is grabbing at stuff and sitting up pretty good with assistance. She's also laughing with noise. I love that it is great!

Our Baby Girl Aubrey

We had our baby girl Aubrey on March 6th 2009 at 9:36PM. She decided she didn't want to come out on her own. I was so uncomfortable that last month of pregnancy. I worked full time up until the time I had her. That was crazy! I was 40 weeks and 2 days when I had to be enduced. I had to be at the hospital at 6am that Friday for the enduction. They gave me the medicine to start the process at 6:20AM. So Charlie and I waited it out in the hospital and watched TV. I finally started feeling some contractions. So we had more waiting to go. I started getting really bad contractions and said I was ready for the pain medicine. They gave me the medicine Nubane. That was crazy it knocked me out for 2 hours. I slept great. I had not been sleeping during that last couple months of the pregnancy, I was so uncomfortable. So I woke up 2 hours later with really bad contractions now that I was trying to get through. I did'nt want to get the epidural shot too early. So I waited as long as I could then the nurse checked on me and said I could get it. So I said ok because I was in so much pain. After the epidural I was good to go. I couldn't feel a thing. So I slept some more. Then the doctor came in and said I wasn't progressing so they had to bump up the amount of medicine to help me dilate more. About an hour and half later I was having pressure. They checked me and said you are almost ready. So that was a great thing to here. I was so hungry and anxious. Probably another hour or so I was ready. I pushed her out in a half hour and they kept trying to stop me to wait for the doctor. The funny thing is the only thing that hurt me was the stupid blood pressure cuff. So we had our precious baby and I felt so relieved.

Riley is a chocolate lab mixed with boykin spaniel. Charlie bought riley for me on my birthday the first year we moved to South Carolina. I had no clue he was getting me a dog. He has been such a great addition to our family. He is almost 4 years old now I can't believe it.

Charlie and Candice's Story

Charlie and I met through mutual friends 5 years ago. The weird thing is that when we were younger we hung out with some of the same friends but we never met. One weekend I was at the bar with a bunch of friends and I saw an old friend from high school. She happened to be one of Charlie's best friends. We started hanging out alot and I met Charlie. We became friends and ended up falling for eachother. We started dating for a little over a year and we decided to make a big move to South Carolina from PA for my job change. Charlie proposed to me before we officially moved. We were engaged in SC for two years before we got married. We had our own first house together. It was great! We made sure we got married in PA because that is where all of our family and friends were. We got married on April 20th,2007. A little over a year of being married and we found out that I was pregnant. We were so excited. We knew it was going to be hard without our family here. We recently had our precious baby girl Aubrey on March 6th, 2009. This has been a challange for us. We are thankfull our friends here have been such a big help. Having a baby has brought us closer together. Not having family here to help with the baby has challanged us but we are working together to figure things out for ourselves.
